Valley Forge National Park: A Winter Wonderland

Valley Forge National Historic Park is a gift to my corner of the universe in the Philadelphia suburb of King of Prussia, a 40-acre haven away from the hustle and bustle of the biggest mall in America, where birds sing and deers dance freely like in the Disney movies. It was especially quaint this past snow day, when it was basically myself, some photographers, and a few adorable families sledding and snow-fighting that populated the entirety of the park. It’s worth braving the bitter cold to experience and capture the beauty of this place and even get a taste of what George Washington and his soldiers had to endure years ago.
